Afternoon Tea
Our afternoon tea menu features a variety of sweet and savoury treats, including our famous scones, served alongside unlimited loose leaf tea and filter coffee. For an extra special touch, upgrade to our High Tea option, which includes a glass of Prosecco, No-secco, Aperol Spritz or IPA for an additional £5. We update our Afternoon Teas seasonally.

Booking Details
Booking Times
To book your afternoon tea, please fill out an enquiry form here. Please note, your booking is not confirmed until you hear back from our team, which will not be instant. Our confirmation emails can also end up in your junk folder - so please be sure to check!
We currently offer set sittings for Afternoon Tea bookings. Customers are allocated 2 hour slots to give you the time to relax and fully enjoy yourself.
Bookings can be made for our 2:00pm slot which runs Tuesday to Friday or our 12:00pm or 2:30pm slots that run Saturday - Sunday.
Menu Changes
We require all dietary requirements and dislikes to be confirmed in advance, as we cannot guarantee menu changes on the day of your booking.
Our Afternoon Tea cakes and sandwiches are baked and prepared in-house from scratch. This takes a lot of time and effort from our kitchen staff, so we want to make sure your Afternoon Tea is an enjoyable experience.
Deposits & Cancellations
Deposits
We require a £5 per person deposit for afternoon tea bookings. This deposit will be taken off of your bill at the time of the booking - this is subject to our cancellation policy.
Cancellation Policy
We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations in order to receive a deposit refund. We are happy to transfer deposits to an amended booking if you can no longer attend on the date specified - this also requires 24 hours notice.
Same-day cancellations cannot be refunded. This also applies to changes in party numbers on the day of the booking - if we are not notified of any changes, the deposits for those not attending will not be taken off of the bill and will not be refunded.
Allergen Details
Cuthbert’s Bakery Limited are fully committed to minimising the amount and type of allergens within our products. Where practical we work closely with our suppliers and ingredients suppliers to reduce these as part of any product development.
CUSTOMERS EATING IN – An Allergen Control Matrix Detailing of all items for sale is available for customers, should they require at point of ordering. Should a customer have a specific allergy or dislike, they should inform a member of staff so this can be accommodated.

New York is a big inspiration for us here at Cuthbert’s and so we wanted to celebrate the great food that city has to offer. With our New Yorker Afternoon Tea, you can have a taste of the city in your very own home - no need for that 10 hour flight across the pond!
